This hotel is a hidden gem up on the ramparts of Elne, with great views over the plain of the Roussillon towards the Pyrenees. The rooms are clean, new, and functional, with stunning views. The staff is very professional and the British owner is passionate about his place and the region. Breakfast with fantastic views is included, and there is also free Wi-Fi access.

We were greeted on arrival and made very welcome, the staff were extremely helpful, the owners interacted with every guest which created a great atmosphere. This hotel is a real find and all of our travelling friends are now aware of it, book early or you'll be disappointed.

Ive been in the business a lot of years so I can say not a single complaint, John the owner is well aware of guest needs and he fulfils them all.

Beautiful hotel. The most perfect location and views.Particularly good restaurant with lovely ambience, both food and the local wine was superb. Located in medieval part of town surrounded by artisan shops and cafes.We wanted to live in Elne forever after our stay.

I recently had a fantastic weekend stay at a charming hotel nestled high up on the ramparts of a beautiful city in French Catalonia. The hotel offers stunning views of the Pyrenees and the tiled rooftops below. The rooms were simple yet comfortable, with stylish en suite bathrooms. The staff were incredibly friendly and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The hotel also has a terrace where I enjoyed a delightful morning coffee while taking in the magnificent view. The restaurant was outstanding, with an excellent menu and a good selection of wines. a highly recommended place to stay for those seeking a unique and picturesque location.

The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. They were always available to answer our questions and provide assistance when needed. Another positive aspect was the cleanliness of the hotel. The rooms and common areas were well-maintained and kept tidy. Finally, the location of the hotel was convenient. It was centrally located, making it easy for us to explore the surrounding area and visit nearby attractions. the staff and cleanliness were the best aspects of our stay.

Not noisy (mean really disturbing) but you may hear doors, peoples speaking and other noises. But place is mostly quiet.

We enjoyed our stay with the hotel's stunning location, situated between hills and having a beautiful view of distant mountains. The hotel was clean and well-maintained with excellent facilities provided. Additionally, getting around was convenient as transportation was easily accessible from our location on the ramparts of this historic city.

There was nothing we didn't like.

From the moment we stepped inside the hotel we felt welcome. John and his staff were professional friendly and made us feel at home. The room was clean bright, and had a beautiful view of the mountains. The restaurant was fantastic with a varied menu to suite all tastes, we stayed a week and ate dinner and breakfast on three occasions, followed by a nightcap and some good conversation with our host and employees. Over the week we got to know them quite well and this helped us relax and enjoy our holiday even more. If you are visiting this part of France, you won't be disappointed especially if you stay at the Logis Hotel Cara Sol.

Friendly atmosphere with a family feel to it. Excellent staff who went out of their way to assist in ensuring our visit was a happy one, to the extent of showing concern regarding how we were travelling around the area. Giving us advice on buses and trains. Food was also superb. Great views from the rooms. Thanks to John, Lucca and Irene and the other staff for a wonderful visit. We will certainly return.

The rooms are spacious and well furnished, and the attention to detail is evident throughout. The staff are friendly and helpful, making you feel right at home. The breakfast included is a great bonus, and the free wi-fi access is much appreciated.

Pleasant location in sleepy village with great train access to Perpignan, local beaches and Carcassone. Friendly owners and clean rooms. Greaat base to stay.

The hotel had a stunning view from the terrace which was a great place to sit and relax. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was very convenient, close to the beaches and the city center. the room was clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was not very varied. , although the hotel had free parking, there were no elevators which made it difficult to get our luggage to our room.

This hotel is in a beautiful location. It is clean, staff are friendly and helpful, the food is excellent, and would recommend to anyone.
